Becoming a Publisher on the DApp Store
This article contains all the information needed to become a DApp store publisher and begin your journey as a contributer to the Beam ecosystem.
The DApp store allows any user to become a publisher and start submitting their very own decentralized applications to the Beam ecosystem. The DAppnet wallet carries all the features and starter DApps needed to test out any potential DApp, and is the perfect test environment for developers before deploying any Beam shaders (smart contracts) onchain.
Create a publisher account
Beam respects and values the private information of all its users. All information provided to the DApp store publisher account will remain 100% anonymous.
The only public information available for any publisher account will be available via the publisher key given to each publisher when creating their account.
To first install a DApp with the DAppnet wallet, you must first become a certified publisher on the DApp store. Anyone can get certified as a publisher.

Fill out the account details for the publisher account (your information will remain 100% anonymous). Create account.
Confirm payment of .011 Beams to create your publisher account. Please wait for your account approval.
You are ready to start publishing DApps!
How it looks in your wallet
Publisher accounts created will be linked with your Beam wallet but will be identified on the Beam blockchain by the Publisher key provided at the end of your account creation. Users can add your publisher key to their contact lists to download any DApps created in the future.

Create a publisher account
Creating a publisher account on the Beam DApp store requires no real-world information. Users do not need to submit or confirm an email address or provide any social media accounts; however, you can do so at your discretion with the peace of mind that your information will always remain private.
Confirm Payment
Creating a publisher account on the Beam blockchain requires a one-time gas payment fee of .011 Beams.
Wait for your account approval
Once the payment is confirmed, your publisher account will be created on the Beam blockchain (this may take a few minutes).

Once your publisher account is fully created, you will be given a publisher key that will be linked to every DApp that you submit on the Beam DApp store.
Publisher's page
Your publisher page is where you can start uploading DApps to the Beam DApp store. You can also view all uploaded DApps and find your publisher key and other account information.
