Receiving Beam

You can receive Beam coins directly from any other Beam wallet or withdraw your recently purchase coins by sharing your Beam wallet address.

Receiving Beam

1. Launch Beam Web Wallet.
2. From the main screen, click receive .
3. Enter requested amount (optional).

4. To complete your transaction, click copy and close , then forward your wallet address to the Sender via email or secure messaging app. To send an address with higher privacy settings, Advanced > Maximum anonymity set. Otherwise, the sender will choose the transaction type (Regular or Offline).

For maximum privacy, a new wallet address is generated for every transaction. If you exit and return to the Receive screen, a new wallet address will have been generated. Always double-check before sharing your wallet address.

Max anonymity set

Max anonymity set is a special type of Offline address that grants users the highest privacy settings possible. Wallet addresses that use the max anonymity set will take up to 72 hours to complete.

To share your wallet address, copy/paste your wallet address and share over a secure messaging app.

Wallet address QR code

If the sender is on mobile, click the QR button to access your wallet address's shareable QR code and allow the sender to scan your QR code.
